A quarter of those lynched were white. Eerily, this mimics the current crime statistics of black versus white murder rates (7 : 1).
The totals from Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia are obvious indications of racism, but other places not so much.
This record of 4,743 total lynchings also covers 1882 to 1968 (84 years). ISIS likely dispatched that many in 6 months.
And lets not talk about the imbalance in the black-on-white vs. white-on-black murders and rapes, or the murder rate by race, etc.
