Can’t take anyone seriously that pretends that it is permissible for women to serve in the Infantry.

When I was attached, I pulled every trigger and had the opportunity to do all sorts of interesting and dangerous things. My military career ended chasing a basket ball out of bounds, go figure.

I am only guessing here, but my guess is that something about my previous post confused you...if you would like to try again, just grab your book, ‘English as a second language For Dummies’ and attempt to form a reply that will be coherent to the Americans that typically post on this forum...Thank You...

My guess is 'Dummies for Dummies" is the book for you. If you think that 80 to 90% of today's males could be legitimate Marines you are in La-La land.

Colonel Christian Wortman is the commander.

Post the link

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Basic_School

So what's that supposed to mean? There's no reference to your "Colonel Christian Wortman" as being the commander anywhere in that wiki post.......

Nice try......

80-90% of the male marines that show up for the training...let’s keep apples to apples here...

Really? Wow golly I must a missed that.

OR if you do searches you’ll see the Marines leverage army research on the subject. At least according to official releases from the jarheads.

I’ve carried a Marine Corps combat load in combat. I work with the Army now. They don’t have the same job.

There are other issues besides physical requirements, there is also unit integrity as well.

There is no privacy in the field.

So what I'm guessing what you are saying is that the number of male Marines showing up and succeeding is roughly equivalent to being hired at Walmart?

Ok well then ignore the marine publications which reference army research.

Good point, although unit integrity has been screwed up in so many ways with the PC reasoning.

Not only is there no privacy, but it doesn’t bode well if say, a CO has favoritism toward a lower-ranking officer either. I generally feel though that plenty of the people in this nation don’t care about the armed forces, seeing as how a majority elects politicians who don’t.

I also feel scared given cases such as Bergdahl too. If all someone who is a traitor or deserter gets is a slap on the wrist, that’s scary. I personally have not served, but I feel scared for those who are serving right now.

Ain’t that the way it goes. Lol

My son is soon PCSing to VA. Don’t think he’ll go green again, but he talks about it all the time. He traveled more on one tour than I did in 10 years. It’s good when you’re young.

Fighting in Hollywood films is pretty fake, regardless of which gender you are shown fighting. Even tough people can get pretty harsh and undesirable injuries, and those falls and jumps, etc. that seem harmless in film can possibly cause a bone fracture, joint dislocation, sprain etc. I am not military, but from my own martial arts training I can tell you that fighting is more exhaustive than it appears. It does take some training to be able to keep fighting with punches and kicks for prolonged periods.

It doesn’t matter if it is dangerous or not. For the most part it is stunt doubles doing the fake fighting.
