Some men back in the days of literary England men kept "journals."

American men? Not a diary or journal to be found in any of the 50 states and territories. THAT would be for pantywaists!

Not so. Go to your local history center. Plenty of diaries/journals.

I have one of my favorites in front of me..."The Journals of Samuel Kirkland", 18th century Missionary to the Iroquois etc....

Nowadays young men post their diaries/journals online, hoping that somebody beyond their circle of family and close friends cares enough to read them. And they don’t, because it’s usually just pointless babble and mental masturbation.
