For Dems compromise means asking for twice what you want and settling for half.
TRANSLATION = We shoved policies that the American people did not want, did not support and do not support today up their ass. Please do not shove policies that the American people support and want up our Democrat Ass. "Can't we just get along until we have a chance to shove it up your ass again?"

Its not compromise because the Republicans don’t take anything to the table, well not really at least. The Democrats announce they want to spend a billion dollars on some issue, so the Republicans knee jerk and say they only want to spend 500 million on the same issue. They compromise and the Democrats get 750 million or more. The Republicans capitulate, they never walk in with demands of their own which is why we are in such bad shape.
agreed. He will spend the next 2 years using the veto on everything. Then complain that it’s a say NO congress.. more of the same.
Pubs need to spend the next 2 years passing bills that he then vetoes... at least his veto will get a tiny bit of coverage, more so than the hundreds of bills passed by the house that never made it to the floor of the Senate, thanks to Dirty Harry. We therefore get a bit of public statement on his veto and can try to draw distinctions...
not that it matters... the only thing that will matter from here on in, is the color or sex of the candidate, and the freebies that they will promise to pass out...
To Democrats, the word “compromise” has its own definition and it means “let’s agree to do it our way”. They say “heads we win, tails you lose” and the hapless Republicans just don’t ever see the ruse.

Agree. If Republicans gain control the senate, we are heading for an epic constitutional crisis as Obama is certain to go into full-on dictator mode. If the congress is to maintain any semblance of credibility, the Republicans will be forced to confront and constrain him. This is do-able since Pubbies would control the money flow.
Obama can’t go straight to the people because nobody believes him. He has lost all credibility. But he hasn’t given up on his agenda and what’s left of his constituiency. His executive overreach will far exceed anything previously done by any president. The nation is on the precipice of a serious crisis that has yet to play out.
Don’t worry once the republicans are the majority in the Senate McConnell has a copy of the Tent Lott power sharing agreement ready to go! McCain’s ready to move on Obama’s judges and Graham is ready to tell you to shut up because they are ready to get amnesty done.McConnell also said that even with the votes repealing Obama Care is off the table. But you guys who won’t support the RINOs this election are going to cause Obama to advance his agenda. Don’t forget Bohner has done everything to crush conservatives in the House too but he’s proud to be your Congressman so get to the polls Tuesday!
