65 year old with a 4 year old son..is that possible?

In the 1700s through 1800s it wasn't that unusual.

Guys who made it to 65 usually had many more years to go as they were the hardy ones.

One of my ancestors was 94 when he married his 6th wife.

She was 18, he had 2 kids were her. He died at 107.

When one of his friends asked about the age difference and health, etc., he said, "if she dies, she dies".

My G grandfather had a big farm in PA back in the 1800's. His first wife died leaving him with 10 children, he remarried and had 12 more.
