When Fort Myers High school football player Sam Turner reached the end zone Friday night with the first touchdown of his high school career, he took a few seconds to bow down and thank the Lord, but that simple act ended up having a major consequence.
Turner, 16, who briefly bent down on one knee, placed his finger in the air and prayed to the Lord, was dealt a 15-yard penalty, with an official dubbing the prayerful act unsportsmanlike conduct, according to the News-Press.

I think there ought to be a way to put a technical foul on a ref and boot their ass out of the game.

might not be a bad idea. I think we’d have to get someone who wouldn’t mind losing a boot. probably wouldn’t want it back.
He should sue the referee. It doesn’t matter whether he wins or not. Once the leftists see that we’re fighting back, and that if they do something stupid like call an “unsportsmanlike conduct” penalty on a high school student for such a simple act, that it will cost them thousands of dollars in legal fees to defend themselves, they’ll begin to think twice about forcing their atheistic beliefs on a high school student.
In a better country that ref would be in hiding.

Seems like they also detonated some sort of explosive device in the end zone...Weapons violation anyone??? Thought they had a zero tolerance policy toward such things /s I also seriously doubt they would have flagged a BLACK player doing the exact same thing !!
