Sullivan made several campaign appearances over the weekend with Sen. Ted Cruz, a Texas Republican who’s a favorite of the tea party, then arrived with Romney at 9 a.m. Monday at City Diner, where a large group of Republicans waited, along with a few unsuspecting patrons.

Romney, wearing a khaki overcoat and jeans, urged people to “get out and vote often,” posed for photos with Sullivan and Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and, on his way out, snatched a piece of reindeer sausage off one woman’s breakfast plate.

Romney and Sullivan, along with Republican Gov. Sean Parnell, were scheduled to hold a rally in West Anchorage later Monday morning.

Seriously, he was there trying to support the party and get out the vote, which is great. And the press tries to turn it into a negative by highlighting what would be minor gaffes that would be overlooked by a non-Republican. The media bias is disgusting.

The Indians are voting 100% dem, I've never seen it this way in any previous election. About 2 weeks back, bunch of outside Dem backers came up from lower 48. They set up Begich offices in every village, making sure every Indian votes & votes dem. Promising Indians things to come their way if Begich wins. I don' think it's even illegal either, how did we get this far gone?

Usually Indians don't turn out to vote in huge numbers; but they sure are this season. Natives make up 100,000 out of 547,000 registered voters in Ak; could throw election.

Why hasn't the Repub Party responded? they must not care if they lose Alaska. Then maybe we'll have enough conservatives turn out to sway the election; sure hope so.
