And this comes after Obama said on Friday that women leaving the work force to raise their children is obviously a choice “we” don’t want women to make.

Why, oh, why can’t we let Obama be judged by the same measure by which he judges everybody else? None of us has confidence that he could lead a doodlebug, much less a world in turmoil from his own plan. The people who have failed to remove him from office have blood on their hands.

Technically what he meant (I think) was that women who choose to have children and drop out of the work force for years are giving up years of experience, pay raises, promotion opportunities and they shouldnt have to choose between having children and advancing in their careers.

So what he was really saying was women should be able to leave the workforce when they are low level grunts and when they return years later they should do so as senior vice presidents, as they presumably would have been had they stayed. Anything else would be unjust and no doubt the fault of republicans.

And before business owners object "but they won't have the right experience! They were out of the office for years!" you must remember, they didn't build that business. Besides, who better to take up the cause of advancing the unqualified than Barrack Obama?
