Exactly - I took my young son into the ladies room with me until we started seeing "family restrooms" popping up everywhere. The mayor could have EASILY accomodated the very few cross dressing people who might need private facilities by asking various businesses to declare a family restroom in their buildings if they don't already have one.

Instead she wanted to have a "special rights" decree!

The last time I had to take a boy to the restroom in a public place. I think the boys was 12. I knew he would not be comfortable in the ladies room. so I let him use the men's. I gave him a time constraint and told him I would be coming in if he was not done by then. I would have done it too!
