I do admire our fellow FReeper Matthew Bracken, for many, many years, but I just posted on another thread what I’m convinced of:

I think he’s done. He’s never been someone who likes to fight uphill. The philosophies of those who came of age in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s are now being contested by those who grew to adulthood in the Reagan era. That is a contest I don’t think Obama — or Hillary, for that matter — can win.

As Dick Cheney said so brilliantly, the wheel has turned, and it is time for them to go.

I think that’s truth. Your mileage may vary!
