Yes, but McConnell has already mentioned possibly undoing Reid’s nuclear option and going back to the filibuster.

Hopefully there’s enough Republicans to convince him otherwise.

The 16th Amendment created the Monster, and apparently is Constitutional.

I would worry about repealing that one more than a national Voter ID.

An idea that would be supported by most Americans.

The State’s and their laws are for chumps. Courts and DOJ are the law today.

Nope. Voter ID is being enacted and being used in the States, DOJ be damned. The only place the DOJ has any traction is on those states that were under the consent decree because of past voting illegality.

Screw the Feds. With 75% of the states with Conservative leadership, the 10th Amendment starts to come back into play, and the Feds get put back in the Constitutional box.

You don't get to pick and choose. Only liberals try to do that with the Constitution.

Since Harry Reid got rid of the filibuster for presidential nominees, can anything be done to stop this from being forced through during the lame duck session?

My understanding is that the GOP can do procedural bullshit like extra roll calls and votes to bring the process to a crawl. The problem with that is that it's good publicity for Obama claiming obstruction (which it would be, if deserved), and that the Dems can play that game the other way come January.

McConnell is going to be getting slapped around quite a bit in the next couple of months.

If he even attempts to play nice with the marxists, all hell will break loose.

A total of 34 states have passed laws requiring voters to show some form of identification at the polls. As of October 13, 2014, 31 of these voter identification laws are in force. -- National Conference of State Legislatures.

There should be a standing ‘wait and see’ order on all business until this EO BS is put to rest.

I understand your point.

However, with the marxists bringing in reinforcements from Central America and a political class in DC working against the interests of American Citizens, the time for debate is over.

The battle is joined, all that matters is victory by any means necessary.

Let’s hope the weather is real bad in DC. They might have trouble convening.

Why not just throw a picture on the voting card. My goodness you get a picture going to SAMS Club. That would relieve all these ID card nonsense that people claim is hurting the poor and minorities. I think throwing a picture on the voting card would solve a lot.

Liberal thinking.

Voter ID is winning in the States. 31 states have it now.

Why not just throw a picture on the voting card.

Works for me, since the Voter ID you are talking about is State issued.

I have a problem with the Feds doing it.

They have screwed up everything, so far, and it's unconstitutional for the feds to do it..

I know. My State is one that requires. But didn’t 2 or 3 States last month who were supposed to have Voter ID this Nov election get shot down due to Courts?

Also, this new AG has a real fire under her about the “racist” ID Vote laws.

And for that, you want to trash the Constitution?

Rolling back the liberalism takes time, not trashing the Constitution.

So the 16th and 17th Amendments are OK by you because they are in the Constitution?

I would definitely like to trash them without thinking twice.

There is a way to get rid of those Amendments.

Trashing the Constitution isn't it.

Only liberals do that crap.
