What I find most disturbing is that the Manpads found their way to Afghanistan and were used to kill scores of American military personnel. The fact that they have confirmation of this thru serial numbers is quite a revelation.

The question remains: why was Stevens killed? We know who killed him, but who was pulling their strings?

Good question. There appears that a number of people had motives to kill him so that the the US policy to arm the Syrian rebels would be stopped. The Turks certainly were opposed to this policy and so would Assad and his Iranian supporters. And we stopped arming the Libyan rebels and were confiscating some of their weapons.

We can only imagine the conversation within the Benghazi compound as both Ali Sait Akin and Chris Stevens parted ways for the final time on September 11th 2012.

Outside the compound walls, the 17th Feb Brigade – Ansar Al Sharia – were also assembled to deliver their final goodbyes.

The Turkish delegation was able to navigate the roadblocks without issue. And within 30 minutes of Consul Akin leaving the venue, Ansar Al Sharia executed their attack.
