National Lampoon Radio Dinner (1972) has a fake ad with Dylan (I think voiced by Christopher Guest) flacking a ‘golden oldies’ album featuring classic songs from the 60’s. It opens with a snippet from a fake Dylan song that goes
“the spangled dwarf with his bow-tie
the infantry that don’t ask why...”.

Since then ‘dwarf’ has been inextricably linked with Bob, at least in my mind.
