Any situation short of the Islamic State obtaining nuclear weapons, and the United States knowing about that, appears to mean that President Obama will not order American ground troops into battle to destroy the terrorist group.
Over the weekend, ISIS beheaded a third American, former Army Ranger turned aid worker Peter Kassig. But a day before that news broke, President Obama outlined an extreme scenario under which he would order troops to fight ISIS on the ground in Iraq and Syria. The president made his remarks at the G20 Summit in Australia Saturday.
Obama says that he would send ground troops into the fight, if ISIS gets its hands on a nuclear weapon.
Obama said, “There are always circumstances, in which the United States might need to deploy US ground troops. If we discovered that ISIL had gotten possession of a nuclear weapon, and we had to run an operation to get it out of their hands, then yes, you can anticipate that not only would Chairman Dempsey recommend me sending U.S. ground troops to get that weapon out of their hands, but I would order it.”
Obama chuckled as he spoke about ISIS obtaining nuclear weapons.
ISIS has beheaded three Americans and two Englishmen. It has murdered thousands of Iraqi and Syrian civilians and military. ISIS has sold women into sex slavery and has destroyed historical monuments and sites. ISIS has also threatened to attack Americans in the United States itself.
Is he going to have the troops form a tight formation to maximize the body count?
Obola cannot even name his own creation: ISIS,
whom he protects more than America, which he
infects with EV-D68, Ebola and terrorism DAILY.
What he needs to do is build a coalition around the world as was done in the first Gulf War and collectively take these monsters out of service. That way it is not just the U.S. but it is the world against them.
It is breathtaking how incompetent Obama is.

If that is the truly the case then please give our troops authorization to use nuclear weapons. Then you can send them....

Good luck with that. Every government in the world has been watching him con people into helping him and then throwing them under the bus for the last 6 years.
1. How will obama really know that they have a nuke until they wipe out a city?
2. If ISIS has nukes and has destroyed an American city or Tel Aviv then it would seem the response is not to send ground troops but destroy them with nukes
3. If we get intelligence that ISIS has nukes but they haven’t used them yet then do we send in ground troops against an terrorist enemy with nukes? Seems stronger action would be warranted

There is a scene in The Enforcer where some thugs take over a liquor store and say they want a car to make their escape. Eastwood says in response to a question about what is he going to do: give em one is his answer as he rams the car through the door.
Seems to me they want a nuke, give them one, or more, just to be sure.
