The key to that statement is "fastest growing in prime time." They had next to no viewers in prime time, and just started showing re-runs of shows like Shark Tank. If they had 5 viewers in prime time but now have 10, they can claim that they've grown by 100%. If no other network has doubled in prime time, then CNBC's growth is faster than every other network.

Their total number of viewers in prime time is still pathetic, they're just using weasel logic trying to make themselves sound better than reality.
