President Barack Obama, who’s coming to Las Vegas today, picked the right state to sell his new executive order that will protect up to 5 million undocumented immigrants from being deported.
More than 10 percent of Nevada’s workforce is living here illegally, the highest rate in the country and double the national average. Also, about one in five schoolchildren in the Silver State have at least one parent who’s an undocumented immigrant — far more than any other state, according to the Pew Research Center.
These adopted Nevadans are among the 11 million illegal immigrants who have been “living in the shadows” for years, all the time in danger of deportation until Obama took action on immigration because he said Congress would not.
“This is an issue that every single citizen should care about,” Obama said in an email to supporters in which he urged them to watch a nationally televised speech he gave Thursday night to unveil his new immigration policy. “It cuts to the fabric of who we are as Americans, and what this country stands for.”
Obama planned to sign his executive order during his Las Vegas visit to Del Sol High School where 63 percent of the students are Hispanic. About 13 percent of Del Sol students are English language learners, as well.

the best way to find out what he’s actually doing will be to read the announcements in Spanish on websites intended for the illegals.
Congress must act or we will lose the rule of law.
We lose the Constitution IMO if Congress stands silent and castrated.
