Obama knows that, once acquitted, they really have no basis to bring federal civil rights charges against Officer Wilson. (remember, they threatened to do this with George Zimmerman?)
But, because there is ZERO evidence to support anything other than Officer Wilson’s testimony, the racist Obama administration is now threatening instead.
These are the last desperate gasps of hate filled racists.
How much has all this cost ( financially)? The feds have already won in that regard.
The LA cops were brought up on civil rights charges (and lost) when a jury of their peers exonerated them. Immediately after the initial verdict I opined that the cops should leave the country; there was no way that would be allowed to stand. At the time we had another radical in the White House (BJ Clinton, the “first black president”).
It would not be an acquittal just a No-Bill. DOJ can still file federal charges and I predict they will after a day or two of riots.
You know the old saying, "You can indite a ham sandwich". It's because the overwhelming number of cases get True-Billed.
It is even a higher percentage in federal court because only a very small number of federal prosecutors have ever been No-Billed.
Remember after the L.A. King case the feds forced the state to indite the officers when the state knew they could not get a conviction. When they were acquitted the riots really got bad. That's when the DOJ stepped in with civil rights charges.
I expect the same thing to happen here True-Bill or No-Bill DOJ will step in it. These cases serve the left's narrative and they will want to keep it alive as long as possible.
