Believe you are correct. Fossil fuel is a nonsensecal term. A Ruskie Phd wrote a book about it some time ago though I don’t recall his name.
Our probes orbiting Saturn and Jupiter have found oceans of hydrocarbons on the moons of these planets. How many ‘fossils’ did these places have? We have only drilled down a small portion of the Earth. There is more and more oil and gas ‘found’ every day all around the Earth. It is natural, a part of the Earth.
