More than 1.1 million illegal immigrant parents in California will qualify for deportation protection under President Obama's executive immigration action, according to the results of a Pew Research Center Study.

According to the study, 1,116,000 immigrant parents in California are eligible for deportation protection, the highest total of any state in the country. The number of eligible parents in California is about double the amount of the state with the next highest total, Texas, where 560,000 immigrant parents will qualify, reports the Los Angeles Times.

President Obama's action will allow 51% of all illegal immigrants in California to qualify for deportation protection, according to the Times.

What a farce...They were going to stay there anyways. And if you think they’re running to sign up, you’re kidding yourself. Even though they’re not “stupid like us Americans” they know it’s only an information gathering “trick”

We have been a sanctuary state for at least 15 years.

Recently in front of the mexican ambassador our governor welcomed illegals to the state

We have had the la city council laugh at parents of murdered son because they wanted illegal criminals not released from jail.

Just another step for cal

Most illegals will produce false documents that will show that they've been here 5 years.

All will stay.

And with the lawless skids having been greased, Obama will grant them all citizenship with an EO.

Tens of millions will become citizens.

I see a lot of this, but I never see an EO number, or any other document authorizing this.

Show me the document.

Once again. Lies, all lies.

Who are these bastards trying to kid?

1.1 million? As I understand it, and perhaps I am wrong, if you’ve been here five years, you’re in period. You don’t have to have any minors in the home.

Talking about 1.1 million in the state is extremely misleading.

Here’s a link to an article that talks about Limited English Proficiency (LEDs). Every once in a while you stumble across an article that reveals much more than they meant to.

I honestly believe you can’t read and reason along with it, this article and not come away with the idea there are more than 5 million illegals in California. If you consider all the information, you could easily start approaching ten million.

Note the number of LEDs in California. Note where most of them come from. Note also that immigrant populations are thought to be 50% LED. That means that you can take the LEDs in California, double that number and work backwards from there.

California has 6.8 million LEDs according to this study.

Something has to be done to stop this runaway train named Obama.

If something is not done immediately to stop Obama from abusing his power to sign executive orders, Obama will feel free to sign more executive orders whenever he feels like it: Tomorrow, 6 months from now, Obama will sign new executive orders legalizing another 2,000,000 to 5,000,000 illegals until there won't be anybody left in Mexico and Central America, because they will all be here in the United States because of the "kindness" and pen of President Obama.

Is there any judge or any lawmaker out there who can stop this madman Obama from destroying the United States as we know it? God help us.

What executive order are you talking about? Did he sign one? Got a EO number?

They would have remained there anyway. CA politicians encourage this.

That’s roughly the combined population of Vermont and Wyoming. What could go wrong?

President Obama's action will allow 51% of all illegal immigrants in California to qualify for deportation protection

As if the other 49% will be deported.

As long as they stay in California and the taxpayers there don’t mind supporting them, I guess I don’t have a problem with it.
