A memo from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson outlining guidelines for the nation's immigration officers working to administer President Barack Obama's new executive order for amnesty said lower-tier criminals such as drunken drivers and drug dealers aren't on the priority list of people to deport.
"Due to limited resources, DHS and its components cannot respond to all immigration violations or remove all persons illegally in the United States," Johnson's memo said.

I was nearly killed by a Mexican Illegal Alien drunk driver. The Mexican Illegal Alien killed another driver who he hit first and had that person not been there then I would be dead today.
His blood alcohol level was .23 and he hit me as he was driving the wrong way on the freeway.
It is ONLY thru the will of God that I am here today and not paralyzed.
Seeing allowance of Illegals who present a danger to we as Americans disgusts and truly angers me.
The first responsibility of the President is to Protect the People, not knowingly expose them to drunks who are not from the country.
Funny. They can’t deport illegal criminals. But they can keep excellent records of all my library visits.
Sorry to hear this I am glad the good Lord protected you. I am too a victim of an Illegal Alien when I was a little girl and I am of Mexican Ancestry. Thank God you were OK; unfortunately, it may not have been a criminal act. Here in NJ (unlike neighboring NY and PA), DUI isn’t a crime (in terms of misdemeanors or felonies) - it is a driving offense.
As one astute FReeper responded to the comment that we can’t deport millions: “Why not? Mexico did.”
Yes, it’s blatantly clear the priorities are all screwed up.
The truth is, you don’t have to hunt anyone down. You merely tell employers they have 30 days to get rid of their illegal alien help, or their businesses are subject to forfeiture.
Then sit on a street corner and watch them drive by headed for Mexico.

Interesting idea. And, as a side benefit, the spouses of limousine liberals would have their hands full tending to the house and taking care of the kids - having no time for “causes”.

You know, hire decent help at decent wages.
I was injured very badly and it took me 4 or 5 years to really recover but even though I didn’t get 100% back I was able to get back to sports I loved. I am grateful every day for what I have even though I have pain and troubles. VERY Grateful.
I have always felt that God had a plan for me and working thru some very tough patches was a big part of it. My Grandfather also lived his life with the complete assurance that God had a plan for him and that got him thru WWI.
The senseless loss of American lives can be easily prevented by getting rid of EVERY Illegal Alien that has had any sort of trouble with drunk driving.
