Aid dogs for the blind and deaf are absolutely fine.In fact, they're great.Dogs to help people with other conditions may be OK as well. But "emotional support" animals????

I SO agree with you! I raised a guide dog pup once (for 14 months) for a reputable, accredited guide dog organization and know the farce of "self trained" support animals and even unaccredited places that train poorly.
Want a dog that will lead you into traffic when it's not clear?? Yeah, that's what I mean.
These people that go around with "support" ponies or pigs or snakes....a load of doodoo.

I knew somsone with an emotional support cat that she was allowed to bring onto airplanes while on a leash. I wondered how the people who were allergic to cats felt about that.
