The GOP must be taught that marginalizing the pro-life movement will end in disaster for them.

That is how I voted this past November. If a person can’t figure out that abortion is evil, they are not fit for any kind of leadership position, at all.
Godwin notwithstanding, I had used a similar comparison with those who want to set aside or marginalize crucial moral issues, except I always featured the autobahn in my version.
Based on my experience, we have a loooooong way to go.
Roughly eight or nine years ago I was having a discussion with a “republican” woman who converted from being Catholic to becoming Jewish (for marriage). During the course of the conversation her premise about abortion was “it takes care of the undesirables” (literally her words). I know my chin hit the table at her statement and I was speechless as she was now following the Jewish faith and could not put two and two together and figure out her own words we’re used many times in the past by Hitler and his cronies (and no, I never brought that piece up, didn’t want to invoke Godwin’s law in real life).
How do you break that kind of mindset? I tried over the years through different angles (economic, future generations replacing ours, government intrusion and collusion, personal responsibility) but nothing ever worked. To her, it was taking care of riff-raff and was a viable form of birth control. She still votes Republican to this day.
The issue —it is tissue begs the reply no it is not. It is contrary to fundamental law —the self evident truth that all men are Created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life...
I t is contrary to scripture God Hates hands that shed innocent blood and the shedding of innocent blood defiles the land— as contrary to Scripture it likewise violates the foundations of American Law in that two of the three most cited European thinkers during our founding era Wm.Blackstone(Commentaries on the Laws of England—more copies sold here than in England) and John Locke (Of Civil Government -Book 2) human laws must not contradict the laws dictated by God (laws of Nature/and the Revealed Laws of
Scripture ) else (human laws) are ill made (even invalid)
Exactly why I could not and would not vote for Mitt, ever.
Child sacrifice, human sacrifice is unacceptable to God. His wrath will be spent when justice is served in avenging the death of the innocent. It’s been over 40 years for us. Don’t expect mercy, and don’t expect blessing. God repeated warns that unless child sacrifice is stopped, He will not halt His judgment.
