It is one thing for private citizens to disparage the Obamas. She represents a Congressman. As communications director (or whatever her title), she should choose her words very carefully.
She had the right idea but expressed it badly. Suggesting that they had no class was stupid. They were a couple of spoiled brats, who were trying to prove a point to their father. Obama seems to lead from behind in his own family, as well as elsewhere.
That is typical Gov't housing trash there.
While the article might have silent on Party affiliation, the video above the printed words lost no time in gleefully announcing that the "perp" was the RNC Communications Director.
Of course, the video failed to recall the MSM's "bullying" treatment of the Bush and Palin daughters.

Sorry, I don’t recall the left making comments about the Bush girls, ever. They pretty much left them alone. No need to drag the kids in.

The Bush girls were really gone after and mocked.
And, to be certain, that ceremony would be boring for me. Never mind to a teenager, who probably doesn't particularly want to hang around with Dad to begin with.
But this commentator is absolutely correct. It's the White House. Act like you're supposed to be there. I need to dress up for my job and pretend that I enjoy umpty-dozen meetings a week, most of which are uselessly boring. Their job is roughly the same, just with a bigger spotlight.
As she was a republican, they did mention it. In any case the comments were no where near as off base as Obama's former communications director, Anita Dunn, telling a high school graduation class that her hero was the communist mass murderer Mao Zedong. Mao is beived to have killed upwards of 40 million of his own people. To this day, I don't think she's apologized.
They were probably confused because they weren’t sure which White House turkey was being discussed...
