You said, “Really? It isn’t? It is an explosion using radioactive materials.”

Yes, really, it isn’t. In no way, shape, or form is a chemical bomb related to a nuclear bomb. They are many magnitudes different in destructive power and consequence.

You said, “I know it isn’t what is referred to as a “nuclear bomb”. But you do know that a lot of people do not know the difference.”

And yet you just said/implied above that there was very little difference. I did say that FEAR is the major impact of this kind of weapon. This fear is generated by being uninformed. A “dirty bomb” has been hyped to be as destructive as a nuke when it cannot be. Apparently you have bought into this.

You said, “A dirty bomb can be more devastating to life then a nuclear bomb. What do you think a neutron bomb is? Basically a highly sophisticated dirty bomb. Spread as much radiation as possible. Same idea, different mechanics.”

Where to start. If a dirty bomb can be even More devasting to life than a nuke, then why do we not mount much cheaper dirty bombs on our ICBMs? Think of the budget savings! A little C4, a little raw uranium, voila.

One can make a dirty bomb from any number of common everyday items, and you claim it would be worse than a nuke. Please.

And no, a neutron bomb is NOT a sophisticated dirty bomb. A dirty bomb uses a chemical explosion to disperse an existing load of contamination, nothing new is generated, no nuclear reactions occur. A neutron bomb uses a nuclear reaction to generate a large pulse of neutron radiation that is destructive only to life, not property. It does not spread radioa tivity. In fact that property is what made it attractive to use. So, no they are not the same.

I never claimed they were the same. I simply meant to point out what some people will think. That will be used against Americans, and Freedom all over the world.

Maybe we should call nukes nuclear reaction bombs. People hear uranium, and connect it to nuclear. I know the difference. There is no nuclear reaction, and dirty bombs are just a chemical reaction just like all the other bombs, and shouldn’t be worried about. /s

Could OUR way of life absorb a dirty bomb? Every talking head would be running around like chickens with their heads cut off, and liberals would use it to:
A) Shut down nuclear power plants.
B) Power grabs
C) Highly regulate “all” radioactive material, or anything that could be used to make a “dirty bomb”
D) Grant the TSA MORE POWER
E) Regulate nuclear energy even further
F) Use it as a way to round up political enemies
G) Grant DHS MORE POWER
............the list goes on FRiend.

In the long run a dirty bomb would be just as devastating to America as a nuclear bomb, but not as devastating as a crippling cyber attack, or EMP.

As more islamic countries develop, refine, and advance nuclear tech. Our window of preemptive defense diminishes. Personally, I think it’s shut and now it is just a waiting game. Hopefully I am wrong. I still do not fully understand why Israel stopped Iran when it could have been easily done. I honestly think GWB would have, if not for low approval ratings, and about 7 years of wars with few real accomplishments(Saddam......for???? ISIS? Really?).

I sincerely hope that mistake isn’t what GWB is remembered for 10-20 years from now. The writing on the wall is clear as day to me, the global propaganda machine is in full force, a war of information and proxy warfare is going on the likes of which could never have been comprehended a few decades ago. Only a few seem to understand that we are losing this silent war badly, seemingly on purpose, and for what? Sin, arrogance, and death.

“Mission Accomplished”
