I half agree. The foot soldiers are often dirt stupid, but the leadership is the embodiment of evil cunning. They have won elections and are in charge. The GOP is largely penetrated and compromised and ineffective as an opposition. Obama is moving quickly to change America forever or completely destroy it. We do not dare to underestimate them.
