If you want a work truck, get a work truck.

In rural areas, the only trucks around are work trucks.

Reliability and ruggedness are critical in the middle of nowhere and hundreds of miles from nearest civilization.

And people expect nothing but the best in their work truck.

I'd love a small work truck with an 7 foot bed. Something like this would do me fine, preferably with rubber floor mats and vinyl seats for the dog, muddy boots or spilled coffee:

However, no one makes them any more. Too many fat Americans won't fit in them, and trucks are now marketed to city people making lifestyle choices, who own little dogs, stop at Starbucks and who wouldn't recognize a sheet of plywood or a bale of hay if one bit them on their oversized butts.
