Reliability and ruggedness are critical in the middle of nowhere and hundreds of miles from nearest civilization.
And people expect nothing but the best in their work truck.
However, no one makes them any more. Too many fat Americans won't fit in them, and trucks are now marketed to city people making lifestyle choices, who own little dogs, stop at Starbucks and who wouldn't recognize a sheet of plywood or a bale of hay if one bit them on their oversized butts.
