I am going up to NY with the family to spend a long weekend with grandma. We usually take the West Side Highway to get into Manhattan but that key artery is being targeted by the protestors. I hate these losers for ruining the holiday for everyone else.

For trying to "Rambo" the arrest of Garner over a few dollars in cigarette tax the city will end up paying a huge amount in overtime, destruction of property, usually a settlement of hundreds of thousands if not millions to the family of the man. Maybe additional lawsuits stemming from the riots.

This reminds me of that situation in the middle east where a man set himself on fire because the government would not let him sell some oranges on the street to help feed his family. It ended up with the people overthrowing the government.
