Although this is my paternal grandmother’s Alma Mater, I would dispute the existence of a ^Republican^ on the Oberlin campus, circa 1978 through...well...today.

Republican conservatives existed at Oberlin, Flamboyant or otherwise. There were some, including a certain Barry, who was at Oberlin at the same time as Dunham. However, the Barry in question turns out not to match any of the other clues she put in her book. Read John Nolte's account on Breitbart, which the current article rips off.
