NEW YORK – It’s common knowledge President Obama signed an executive order directing the Department of Homeland Security to forgive millions of illegal aliens for their past violations of immigration law, right?
Wrong.
Today the National Archives and Records Administration, responsible for such maintaining such filings, said no such executive order was ever signed or filed, confirming WND’s report Wednesday.
A National Archives librarian, Jeffrey Hartley, made the confirmation in an email Thursday to WND.
“As I indicated, it would appear that there is not an Executive Order stemming from the President’s remarks on November 20 on immigration,” Hartley wrote.

Bush 41 did something similar in banning import of semi-automatic firearms. It’s usually referred to as an executive order, but it was really just Bush telling the ATF administrator how he wanted things done.
Same thing as his “executive order” forcing background checks. Never happened, never will happen. If they legalize 5 million illegals, poor citizens will see them at their welfare offices and raise HELL.
Typical of a charlatan.
Why do an EO when you can just whisper a desire and your loyal minions in the bureaucracy will zealously do all that you want and more? This guy is not their President, or Dear Leader. He is their god.

Yes. There was no Executive Order.
It was a memorandum signed by Jeh Johnson, Homeland Security Secretary, to Customs and Immigration Directors And Commissioners

Right. there is a RULE that EOs have to be filed blah blah blah. all this confirms is that archives does not have a record of it. Obama could have signed it and held it. who knows. proves nothing because Obama does not follow any rules
is he still spending the 100 million + to run the program, buy the ID’s, etc?
buy us time to pour Republicans into the Senate maybe.
