One does not have to be a bleeding-heart liberal to find fault with the grand jury’s decision in New York City. The facts, not politics, should guide our reaction in both cases.
Unfortunately, the liberals and the media are using both cases to say this is part of a pattern of cases of black men being singled out by cops.
I agree facts should guide decisions of grand juries, and that the results of our justice system should be respected.
But who are the ones who are not respecting the results of our justice system procedures????
I’ve heard liberals also throwing Trayvon into the mix as they rail about brutality against young black men. Also a couple of other cases from other cities which haven’t gotten national publicity.
The liberals are trying to push a narrative that our system is racist, cops are racist, young black men are singled out, all of these cases are part of a tragic pattern. That’s where we are at. Linda Chavez makes some good points but the liberals are not allowing us to proceed as she describes.
The timing of the release of NY Grand Jury finding is indeed unfortunate.
It has given liberals an authentic cause to protest and allowed the race pimps to conflate the NY and Ferguson police actions.
Rather than being reviewed and discussed on the facts, the death of Michael Brown is now lumped in with the death of Eric Garner with both being distorted as racist police actions.
I would wager that hardly any of the protesters are informed of the real facts about Furguson. Most are motivated by the distortions of the race pimps and the biased reports in the media..
Ad of course, as always. there is a contingent waiting in the wings to take advantage of any issue to recreate their glory days of the 1960's demonstrations.
