It's crazy if you had to deal with dems/liberals since the last election. It was pretty much a rejection of what they deeply believe but they are blind to seeing just how bad their ideology has failed everyone, just like you describe has happened in Austin. These people just flat out don't want to understand, it's their ideology that is a huge fallacy, but they just want to double-down on stupid, unfortunately.
