President Obama warned Saturday that positive economic trends would be reversed by a “Christmas shutdown” in Washington and also pushed the incoming GOP-led Congress to embrace a minimum-wage hike and other administration priorities.
In his weekly address, the president touted this week’s data showing the U.S. added more than 200,000 jobs in November, bringing the 2014 total to 2.6 million jobs. That progress, Mr. Obama added, could be undone if Congress fails to pass legislation to fund the government past Dec. 11.

I have lived through the administrations of the eleven presidents from Harry Truman forward.
I have NEVER, EVER seen such petulant, self-important, bombastic, bilious, narcissistic, dictatorial behavior from *ANY* of them!
0bama is the worst, by at least two orders of magnitude, of all presidents I have lived under.
And that’s saying something, since James Earl Carter, the nucular injineeah, and Billy Jeff Klintoon, the womanizing perjurer, are among them.
To demonstrate the truth of Obama’s oft repeated statement that he is NOT a king, the Congress must fill their obligation to oppose his will.
There is NO OBLIGATION TO COMPROMISE!
Truth be known, it was probably that republicans won that the jobs increased. Maybe the win energized the business world into seeing a glimmer of light at the end of this oppressive Obama tunnel.
Not cow-towing to him will most likely cause a further bump in job creation.
Businesses look well into the future when planning, Obama looks for the next poll release. Government is a big, slow-turning wheel, which our adolescent president just doesn’t get.
The GOP needs to forget he’s there and go full speed ahead, put him on the defensive.
Government shutdown? If that what it takes, then go for it. This election was about one thing...stopping Obama, not ceding to his every spoiled-ass demand.
Obama taking time out from fanning the racial fires to warn GOP not to shut the country down....hoping for the worst...what sorry person B.H.O. is, just the worst.
