One of the biggest lies is that these protests are “Sweeping the nation”. The reality is that they’re happening in a handful of liberal cities and the other 99% of the country is completely unaffected.
In that you are correct except that the "unaffected" are also largely unaware or unconcerned about what is going on. They will remain so until they wake up one morning to find that they now live in a totally authoritarian dictatorship without rights or freedom. It will be the worlds largest WTF! moment in history.
