Obama, congressional Dems show cracks in unity (Exempt Schumer scared to death)
Fredericksburg ^ | 12/07/14

WASHINGTON—It used to be that Democrats would mutter under their breath about President Barack Obama and the White House.

Now, with the midterm elections behind them, some leading members of the president’s own party are airing their frustrations with little restraint and charting their own course.

In speeches, negotiations and congressional hearings, several high-profile Democrats are disregarding the White House in ways large and small. The White House has responded with an extraordinary veto threat while Obama has made a round of calls to liberal Democrats urging them to stand up against their own leadership.

Sen. Chuck Schumer, a prominent member of the Senate Democratic leadership, raised new doubts about the timing of Obama’s 2010 health care law.

Chuckie is next on the chopping block - and he knows it.

I’m not sure. New York voters are some of the most idiotic on the planet. Maybe he is angling for the “moderate” label and national office.

Knocking off the oleaginous twins, Schumer and Durbin, would be wonderful. Almost as good as removing McCain and Graham.

More of the Class III Senators may be distancing themselves from Obama, Obamacare and Immigration, as that Class is up for reelection in 2016:

Class III Democrats:

Bennet, Michael F. (D-CO)
Blumenthal, Richard (D-CT)
Boxer, Barbara (D-CA)
Leahy, Patrick J. (D-VT)
Mikulski, Barbara A. (D-MD)
Murray, Patty (D-WA)
Reid, Harry (D-NV)
Schatz, Brian (D-HI)
Schumer, Charles E. (D-NY)
Wyden, Ron (D-OR)

Class III Republicans (a.k.a., shapeshifters*):

Ayotte, Kelly (R-NH)
Blunt, Roy (R-MO)
Boozman, John (R-AR)
Burr, Richard (R-NC)
Coats, Daniel (R-IN)
Coburn, Tom (R-OK)
Crapo, Mike (R-ID)
Grassley, Chuck (R-IA)
Hoeven, John (R-ND)
Isakson, Johnny (R-GA)
Johnson, Ron (R-WI)
Kirk, Mark (R-IL)
Lee, Mike (R-UT)
McCain, John (R-AZ)
Moran, Jerry (R-KS)
Murkowski, Lisa (R-AK)
Paul, Rand (R-KY)
Portman, Rob (R-OH)

[*McCain has already started sounding more conservative and anti-Obama policies, even on immigration.]

It’s like the last days of the Nazi Germany.

Everyone is positioning for the power-broker spot, or running to the exists so they dont get blamed for the mess, all the while knowing that the top guy is finished, and is as psycho as they all knew he was, but they will still shout “Heil”, but this time it’s all out of habit than out of devotion.

I think he wants to retire and this is his last stand for the party.

Although a Dem, he has done a lot for Upstate in the realm of finances and for vets.

Yeah, I know. It's just that whenever Schumer comes up I think of Durban. They are inextricably bound in my mind as the two slimiest politicians in the Senate.

One of Schumer's more memorable idiocies:

Republican patriot---Sen Charles Grassley tried to protect Americans w/ this amendment to the Senate amnesty bill: "Congress should not thumb its nose at the millions of Americans who are victims of identity theft, often perpetrated by an undocumented person who steals Social Security numbers to get jobs, govt benefits, driver's licenses and more.

This amendment will simply require the person applying for RPI status to disclose any previously used Social Security numbers," said Grassley. "It's the first step to helping clean up the mess that's been created for the victim of identity theft. The amendment also authorizes certain federal agencies, upon receipt of this information, to notify individuals who were the victims."

Dismissing Sen Grassley's proposal, Sen Schumer (Dimwit-NY) said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

=============================================

THESE ARE SCHUMER'S CONSTITUENTS---Schumer never saw an immigrant he didn't want to subsidize with tax dollars---dating back to WW 11.

The contemporary Russian trek to the US is s-o-o-o-o profitable, they even got Russians pretending they're Jews so they can stop off in Israel first---grab all the US subsidized freebies there---then fly here to sign up to ride the US gravy train and even get job set-asides (more jobs taken from struggling Americans). The Ruskis settle in Little Odessa---Schumer's district.

As Russian refugees seeking "asylum from persecution" pocket SS checks and ride the US gravy train speeds up----US govt freebies are tripled.

Republicans gained a lot of seats in Albany and the GOP gained New York seats in the US House of Representatives — that’s what’s steering Schumer. He sees that there is a basis for a Republican to win statewide.

That's a list worth saving and discussing from time to time, for the benefit of the "there's no difference between the parties" crowd. I've got a bone to pick with a few of the Republicans, and several are long in tooth and past their expiration date. That should set up some tough decisions and primary challenges, each of which will be magnified by the MSM (and some here) as the death struggles of a dying party.

But look at the 'rat list. Brian Schatz (HI) is new and has not had much of a chance to disgrace himself yet, which puts him ahead of most democrats. Ron Wyden is an honest liberal, and must feel lonely in the democrat cloakroom; being honest, he will actually talk sense about hard issues, be civil to opponents, and from time to time work across party line. But the rest ... well, it's Sunday morning and the Christmas season, so let's be civil ... but if they were fish, none of them would be worthy of being used for chum.

Hi Liz, I think we should call them what they are illegal aliens. Calling them immigrants simply aids the dim narrative. Just a thought.

The trouble with Chuck the Schmuck is that he feels the hot winds of change blowing up his butt crack.

Look at who Chuck the Schmuck has been dweedling with for the last 6 years, towing the Obama movement line completely.

But advocating mayhem of murder, looting, rioting and arson, , removing the constitutional rights of whole cities full of law abiding citizens, while Obama and Holder do the nod, nod, wink , wink with Al Sharpton? Chuck the Schmuck is mucho nervioso! Someone will have to pay. Soon.

And thats why all of the leftists are writing these “soul searching “ articles. When America awakens to action with a roar, the left ,including Chuck the Schmuck, will not be able to find hidey holes deep enough. And whats more they are sorely afraid, beginning to desert their dark lord in Washington.

Lead the charge Chucky Schmucky!

Unfortunately, I think only Bennet (D-CO) is vulnerable in 2016, and that’s going to be difficult if the Democrats have a decent candidate for President.

I’d really like to see Reid booted out, and I hope the Republicans can come up with a good candidate. It can’t be close, because Reid has the unions like SEIU in his pocket. The Republicans have to get ALL of their voters to the polls.

I wonder if The Madison Project, Club for Growth and other various T.E.A. party organizations are already courting small G’ment people who would be interested in running for Senate.

I would love to see Sara Palin run against The Maverick, That would make my day
