The size of the bills are the root of the problem - an intentional root, I am sure. They’re hundreds or thousands of pages long just for crap like this to happen. We founded a country on a document that was what, 15? 20? pages long?

Want to stop this crap for real? Pass (and enforce) a law that says no bill can come up for vote in the House or Senate unless it’s shorter in word count than the Constitution.

Evil hides in the shadows. It also nestles itself on the bottom of page 434 of an 912 page bill where no one will ever see it until after it becomes law.
