Not all churches have food pantries, and those that do, are stretched to the max. Plus, they have to sign up and jump through loops to receive a food basket. I never get tired of the ignorance of those who don’t have a clue what they are talking about. The churches don’t just hand out food - most of the time they serve their members first. If there is anything left, they service the community.

You must live in a very cruel area of the country. All of our churches provide vouchers for food to anyone who asks through the local food pantry.
Sure beats stealing.

If the church accepts donations from the community at large, then all members of the community, regardless of church affiliation should be served.
