The terrorists cut heads off innocents
Yet we are the bad guys
BULLS__T!
Exactly!
According to DiFi, the Enhanced interrogation techniques did not produce not even one single actionable bit of information. The CIA did this for years and never got one bit of good information. Unbelievable.
This is not a Senate Report. Republicans had no role in it.
It goes back to everything is Bush's fault. The dims are implying President Bush could be guilty of war crimes and want to use this as a bargaining position against threats to impeach obummer for his presidential directive overreach.
More simply put, "You get our guy, we'll get your guy".
It did not hurt the reputation of the USA worse than you did, bigears.
Obama has harmed America.
Clearly a political decision in line with hillary’s despicable “soft” approach in dealing with terrorists.
The mind of the "old soldier" continues to deteriorate at an accelerating pace.
Dianne Feinstein would never, ever go against Obama's wishes.
Bush waterboarded 4-6 terrorists.
Obama killed 2,400+ in drone strikes.
There will not be a perceptible impact to US Security due to it's release. It's a far bigger deal here in the USA.
The foreigners already believe we do FAR worse than what this report talks about.
The big story in this report is this: Either the CIA lied to Congress (very big deal) or Congress is lying about what they were told.
I sense it's the latter. After all, the report says they Waterboarded KSM 183 times and got nothing of value.
HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
This is your typical democrat tactic.lose the election then badmouth your country.Dems are fond of doing this. They did the same thing during and following the Vietnam war.
These democrats are evil people who love placing the lives of others in danger because they’re not risking their loved ones who are serving to protect us from these terrorist animals.
Just another ploy by the scrapings from the bottom of the democrat cesspool. Providing this today will allow the media lapdogs to scuttle the Gruber vs Gruber hearings. We can’t have the public hearing about how they were lied to about Obamacare. After all they may wake up and find out that the democrats know who they are dealing with.
Navy Sere training in San Diego during late 60s to early 70s began with cooking trainees in a corrugated metal box. Next instructors in black pajamas carrying AK-47s dragged them out to stand at attention while they hoisted the VC flag. The week went downhill from there. There was sleep deprivation, slapping, water boarding, stress positions, etc. with no Ensure offered.
Terrorists remain unresponsive to direct questioning and psychological gambits. Effective interrogation necessitates also applying all stress and coercion techniques our military encounters in survival schools. Effective interrogation requires combining these techniques within a continually confused and uncertain environment.
Rep. Peter DeFazio wrote to me of 20 former Army interrogators saying that abuse and torture of prisoners and detainees should be avoided at all costs. I find that assertion disturbing, because on Sept. 11, 2001, we were prepared to shoot down any civilian airliner that did not land immediately, regardless of its crews assertions. At what level of butchery do we decide to protect the lives of our citizens at all costs?
For my representative and others, U.S. victory definition must reside wholly within interrogation processes seeking tranquil, self-created moral high ground, affirming their illusion of national greatness. Islamic jihadists define victory as U.S. submission through elaborate and extensive slaughters. Given jihadists avoid desired U.S. scenarios for conflict, they win by their definition. However, according to Congress, the President, the media and our intellectual elites, we perish by the thousands, but win by our definition.
Obama kills 15 year old Americans via drone and absent any due process. That is just okie dokie. Bust dunks KSM to save American lives. That is heinous. Our country is lost.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed. Nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
I find, to my chagrin I was absolutely wrong in one sense. It was the English Parliament that put a stop to the barbaric tortures of the condemned. The English Bill of Rights 1685 declared torture had to stop. One, Titus Oates convicted of multiple perjury, was whipped, while dragged by a cart. This case aroused the reformers.
I was right in saying the Framers of the Constitution were appalled by what had gone on in England. Nonetheless England had already six years prior, had their own edict. Read to King William 111,before Parliament. That of no cruel and unusual punishment.
Mea Culpa.
