7-Eleven to Serve up ObamaCare
Independent Women's Forum ^ | December 12 2014 | staff

After grabbing a Slurpee and hot dog, 7-Eleven patrons may pick up some government-sponsored healthcare messages, too. The Administration just announced a partnership that allows them to promote ObamaCare on sales receipts.

Building on partnerships with shopping malls and other hot spots for the young and uninsured, the Department of Health and Human Services announced a partnership with PayNearMe, an electronic payment processing system that allows businesses to process cash payments for those who don’t have access to banks. 7-Eleven is one such store that will now allow PayNearMe receipts to include a plug for healthcare.gov at the bottom of receipts.

During this open enrollment season, we’ve seen the Administration take a different approach to marketing ObamaCare that relies more on partnerships than big, splashy and expensive PR campaigns.

Well, this should work just swell! Spending taxpayer dollars to advertise on pieces of paper that people IMMEDIATELY throw away is a fiscally sound way to get the word out!

Since I don’t buy anything from 7-11 that makes it difficult to boycott them.

I don’t have any reason to boost 7-11, but it’s the PAYMENT company that has the deal with Obamacare. 7-11 is just the retailer.

To me this would be analagous to somebody buying a sandwich in 7-11 with a Baraq Obama MasterCard affinity credit card.

“Gimme two quarter pound sawdust dogs with some of that mystery meat chili sauce, a Supremo-Giant-Gulp day-old burnt coffee, and a heapin’ helpin’ of Obama-Kare for two.”

Wait a minute!

I thought it was THE LAW that everyone be signed up by now!

Why do they need to keep promoting it?

What do they call those?
“1000 mile dogs”?

because that’s the mileage their outer skin has on it from rotating for months.

I’ve come to the conclusion that BHO’s primary goal is to totally drain the wealth of this nation,

and he just finds whatever “sinks” he can to throw the money away.

If it is so awesome, why do they feel the need to advertise it. Also isn’t it the “law of the land”, so are people not compelled to get it? So why the need to advertise it?

How perfect. The 7-11s near me are dirty, out of date and offer cheap, disgusting food. They are the perfect place to pitch Obamacare.

I can't remember the last time I was in a 7/11. But when I was there I'm sure they weren't handing me a receipt for a cup of Joe.

Desperation! Everyone is already seeing a massive rate hike, even with subsidies, and if he can’t sell this polished turd then he knows it’s doomed.
He better hope SCOTUS strikes down the subsidies so he has his blame for its failure.

Good Luck at that ......

Most 7-11 in this area are run by Indians who barely speak English
