They can’t get rid of them because they are not “bastardising” their religion, they are the FUNDAMENTALISTS of their religion... Their “religion” does not teach that all human life is sacred, it does not have a concept of “live and let live”. It literally means SUBMIT to the will of Allah, or be subjugated by those who do. If you do not, you can and should be killed for it.
Islam does not bother itself with your immortal soul, it is all about ensuring that you bow down to it in this world.
As long as people keep lying to themselves about what Islam is, nothing will change.
When 0.2% of your religion believes something you have nutjobs misinterpreting it.
When 2.0% of your religion believes something you have a small feing sect that believes an uncommon view of the sacred texts.
When 20% of your religion believes something you have a common sect that has a legit interpretation of it.
I made essentially the same point last night in the live thread about this incident. The killers are the fundamentalists (not the radicals) of islam... promoting thier "religion" the way they have for centuries...by violence and intimidation.
