A thousand years from now, in the Year 3014, people will marvel at the Nazca Lines, and look at the dramatic straight lines of the Hummingbird, along with the strange, out of place curved path leading up to it, which was made by environmental protesters back in 2014. What will they say about the people who lived in our time?

I put them on par with the idiots that shot the nose off the sphinx. Not as bad as the talaban that blew up the buddahs, who meant to destroy them, but selfish, wanton destruction because they were thinking of their own ends.

Just like we read about the sphinx being damaged by soldiers, we’ll read about the lines being damaged by thoughtless protesters. They’ll be a lesson forevermore. And I bet at least a few of them will really lose sleep over it.
