Apparently it’s a service people can use that makes it look like they are getting a text from someone else. So if you’re trying to make a guy jealous or stalk a guy, use the ‘dummy texting service’ and nobody will know where it originated.

Jackie sounds bi-polar, at the very least.

This is common in todays dating scene for the young and trendy. Hell, in the ‘life’ scene. There are now entire companies dedicated to being PR departments for anyone with cash, no matter how trivial their wants.

It’s the result of the MTV and now Reality/youtube culture. If you can’t ‘be somebody’ based on achievement, you can promote your way into your own little corner of importance. Even if that importance makes you look famous/important/desired/popular among 10 people.
