De Blasio called on Monday for a halt of political statements until after the funerals of the slain officers, an appeal to both sides in a roiling dispute centered on the deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of white police officers.

“We are in a very difficult moment. Our focus has to be on these families,” de Blasio said at police headquarters. “I think it’s a time for everyone to put aside political debates, put aside protests, put aside all of the things that we will talk about in all due time.” …

So he wants to put attention on the Asian and Hispanic families instead of the black family. Yeah, that’s going to go over well.....

Mayor Warren Wilhelm Bill de Blasio is way out of his depth.
He has alienated himself to 35,000+ officers in the NYPD.
Time to throw in the towel, Warren Wilhelm Bill.
You and your pals have set back race relations three decades or more.

...if this stops - then Obama’s people can’t usher in a new era of govt control - they need this social unrest to seize freedoms - collect lawfully owned firearms - and spread their form of idealism - thus poisoning the Republic to kill it...

We’ll see in 2015 if the “new” GOP leadership will do anything...then again, I’m not holding my breath for a positive outcome or any shred of common sense to be used by Wash politicians....

Yes, and after using the UFT name and monies from OUR dues to pay for transportation to demonstrations concerning Eric Garner and to ask UFT members to join him and Al Sharpton there, the president of the UFT Michael Mulgrew sent an email to UFT members this morning. The important part is:

Tonight, the UFT Executive Board passed a resolution offering our deepest condolences to the families, friends and colleagues of Officers Liu and Ramos. Our resolution also pledges that our union will continue as always to work for peace in our communities and respect for all.

What a freakin' hypocrite Mulgrew is. And how unfit he is to lead anything more than possibly a Conga line.

My heart goes out to the families of the murdered policemen but the people of New York who voted for their idiot mayor deserve what they asked for. Perhaps next time they will think before they vote, but I doubt it.

Or maybe more than 24% of registered voters will vote. Think about that...76% of idiots who bothered to register didn’t vote. Then they wonder why this toxic piece of garbage wins.
