After taking down the unions and surviving a couple massive attacks by the Left, he is a valid choice for Conservatives to take kindly to.
W.
I admire Thomas Sowell, he has been on my Freep page for years as one of my most admired people. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin, and everything to do with his vocal and brilliant evisceration of liberalism and socialism in his works.
A man who would do what he did to protect his men and our country's interests has my admiration.
No—Walker’s an open borders guy!
Also, Walker had no idea his union move would be controversial, having seen Mitch Daniels do something similar with little backlash. Then, like the career bureaucrat/pol that he is, he merely held on for his political life. That doesn’t make him a hero.
Absolutely!
Walker has been a fantastic governor and beat the down the union thugs into oblivion. He’s fantastic. How many other GOP governors would have not only won legislatively, but beat them both in the recall and a reelection. All this is a fairly left-leaning state.
I’m glad you’re happy with him and he probably has been a good governor. But a conservative hero? Not by a long shot. His immigration position would kill this country.
Just love Prof. Williams. It must be great to be a student in one of his economics classes. He would make “the dismal science” fun.

Well, there's always Sheila Jackson-Lee and Hank Johnson. < / sarcasm >
Got it. Thank you smoothsailing.
Conservatives celebrate achievement. Liberals celebrate, uh, liberalism.
Ben Carson, Allen West, Herman Cain, Alan Keyes.
The same Allen West who voted with Obama in favor of the indefinite detention without trial of Americans?
The same Allen West who voted with Obama in favor of redistribution of wealth to the Black Caucus?
The same Allen West who publicly stated he wanted “Justice for Trayvon©?”
The same Allen West who did such a pathetic job on fighting vote fraud that it cost him his seat?
The same Allen West who won’t dispute Obama’s fake credentials or election fraud because he “wants a future in politics”?
THAT Allen West?

I’m starting to notice this more often. It is it just me or is the internet getting sloppy?
LOL, unfortunately! B^)
Great! Thanks for picking it up! B^)
I met him at Grove City College, PA (totally government free) while auditing their safety program. He gave a lecture and I sat in. GREAT man. Did you know he used to be a Black Pamper, in a mild way, rebelled against the military and was a genuine prick until he SEEN DA LIGHT? Hell of a man. I was so sorry to hear years ago his wife died.
He’s markedly better on the issue than Jeb. I can live with a compromise on this issue, and I don’t see any evidence he’s for anything other than a compromise bill that deals with people here illegally. Does he support blanket amnesty like the Bush’s and Obama?
Walker has actually said some more extreme pro-illegals stuff than Jeb or about anyone else. He has said that he wants every single foreigner who wants to come here—from Mexico or elsewhere—to be able to do so legally, so there will be no need for immigrating here illegally in the future. As to those already here, he has referred to eventually giving them citizenship, too.
If he had his way, he would kill this country.
