I've been coming to FR for eight years and a member for almost 3 years. I guess that's not long enough for you though, huh? From my experience, there are people on FR who don't follow that "generally" rule. Several times I have voiced my opinion and almost got physically attacked for not going along with the pack. I would be careful generalizing about the behavior of all people on FR.

Really? Let me clarify for you. Inferring someone lives in a cave simply because they do not share your opinion is a personal attack. Inferring that that person watches Saturday morning cartoons when you believe they haven't owned a TV in 30 years may have been asinine (and it most certainly was) but it was a personal attack. As many here can attest I am perfectly capable of handle sophomoric attacks, I'm just not interested, which is why I am done with you.

I did not call you a liberal, ,I said your unwarranted attack on me for doing nothing more than disagreeing with you was a liberal trait. For all I know you wear lady's dresses. That is a female trait. But that doesn't make you a female.

Yes there are. And they can be and often are summarily discounted as being someone other FReepers want nothing to do with. You seem bent on acquiring that status. So be it.
I noticed also that your feeble attacks on me took place of your even attempting to refute the information I provided to refute your original statement. I'll take that for what it is, your inability to do so. Again, have a nice day, I'm done with you...noob.
If your folks are still alive, I have a minister friend that would be glad to marry them. If not, then I'm afraid the condition is permanent.
