President Barack Obama has said Vladimir Putin made a "strategic mistake" when he annexed Crimea, in a move that was "not so smart".
Those thinking his Russian counterpart was a "genius" had been proven wrong by Russia's economic crisis, he said.

Putin gets really unhinged and apoplectic about what he says people think about Russians, which I’m pretty sure is not what people think about Russians. Any sane person would want to think well of the leader of a country as powerful as Russia, but this guy has some sort of poisonous inferiority complex thing going on that he seems to be inflicting on his countrymen. I don’t envy anybody as close to all of that as anyone with a name like “Berlin Freeper” probably is. For sure having his intelligence insulted publicly will make him flip. He’s been playing the part so long as cheerleader for downtrodden people when he himself is doing the downtrodding.
Not saying he is.
I wonder how much Obama really knows about Ukraine. Is any of it even his decision?

Agree, Obama hasn’t a clue what he’s up against...this is like a knife at a gunfight...community Organizer VS the KGB.
I don’t know. It’s interesting to me that A) The bottom has dropped out of the Russians main revenue source, and B) The North Koreans are being credited with a cyber attack which was probably pulled off by the Russians.
