We already had another Reagan and we unceremoniously kicked him to the curb. His name was Duncan Hunter.

With all due respect, Duncan Hunter was no Ronald Reagan.

Everybody knew who Ronald Reagan was. Nobody had ever heard of Duncan Hunter.

As a consequence, he wasn't "kicked to the curb", he never got beyond the curb.

2% name recognition ain't gonna cut it...

We would have known all about Hunter as well had we wanted another Reagan...IMHO.
