Ted was blessed by the Pope in a personal letter to his death bed, and he received a grand Catholic funeral presided over by a Cardinal, I wonder if Mario will receive such a public display of Catholic piety and respect?

Exactly the point. cardinal O’Connor denied a Catholic funeral to a murdered Mafia boss and did not allow him to be buried in consecrated ground. Mario Cuomo openly supported the wholesale killing of innocent human life and did all in his power to keep ot legal. He openly and maliciously opposed the efforts of Cardinal O’Connor who tried to protect the unborn. His vile son continues the Cuomo family tradition. Very much doubt that Cardinal Dolan has the fortitude to deny a Catholic burial to this tyrant.
The Pope was responding to a letter which Ted sent to him, this is the polite thing to do. A Cardinal was present at Ted’s funeral but he did not preside. Accuracy is important. Mario will have the funeral his family wants, most will come for the show, a few will actually pray for his soul.
