The land in question here is not Israeli land, it is Palestinian. But, these Palestinian lands are occupied territory, so, IDF has authority over them.

The underlying issue is the 5000 recently planted olive trees that were uprooted by, it is thought, the settlers at the Adei Ad outpost. The US diplomats went to inspect the trees because supposedly some of these Palestinians were US citizens. That is when the settlers from Adei Ad attacked the diplomats.

No Israeli’s build on land owned by Arabs, Israel requires deeds to get building permits. If land is captured in war and occupied, unoccupied land that has no deeds belongs to the government, not to a racial groop.

Otherwise all national forests belong to the Indian tribes in America.
