CONWAY, SC (WIS TV) -
A man accused of sexually assaulting a victim Thursday was beaten by an acquaintance of the victim before the police even arrived.
William Mattson's mugshot clearly shows the result of what happened to him early Thursday morning before officers with the Conway Police Department came to the scene around 12:57 a.m.
Police found the mangled Mattson, 52, at the Highway 905 residence with the victim claiming the sexual assault.
Investigators stopped short of saying who exactly beat Mattson, but said the person was "acting in defense for the victim."
Mattson was then arrested and taken to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
Nope. He’s still alive.

There are too many examples of women claiming to have been raped, to escape the anger of a father/boyfriend,
to just assume that there was a sexual assault.
At least two men have been killed by “friends” of the victim, when in fact there was no victim.
Ergo, I hope this kind of case would be left for the authorities to investigate the actual facts, before any determination of actual guilt is made.

To be clear, not in this case, but in other cases, accused rapists have been killed, and it was later found out they were innocent.

When police arrived, Mattson said the victim was drinking and talking with him while she was naked under bed covers and he was fully clothed. Mattson told police she started to kiss and hug him, and when the complainant came home he began hitting Mattson, according to the report.

The police report indicates a 21-year-old female and her 27-year-old boyfriend came home to a house they share with others.

Upon hearing odd sounds coming from inside the room, he told police he kicked the bedroom door down and apparently went Rambo on his uncle while physically driving him out of the home with pounding fists.
After calling police and reporting the chaotic scene, Mattson returned to the property and told officers that his sexual relations with the victim were consensual.
That’s when Mattson’s nephew lunged at him again, brutally ripping into his face once more, police said.

Wise cops! Just like the guy who got caught stealing from the Marines Toys for Tots Box. The Marines there said that the perp much have stumbled and fallen off the curb. And the cops just said, well we think you’re right!
Now that’s funny right there. Got to love the Marines!
I can likely sum up the story once all of the facts come out:
The uncle is a perv.
The girlfriend is a slut.
The boyfriend cant choose women.
But she cries rape when her boyfriend catches them in bed, the boyfriend beats up the uncle....and the police arrest the uncle for....something. Boyfriend takes it out on the uncle for not being smart enough to see this coming from a mile away.
Mistakes have been made and lies told. thats a fact. Also a fact is that rediculously more rapists have been returned to society/set free over miscarriages of justice.
It’s an ugly world. And any man that walks in on his girlfriend/wife getting plowed falls under ‘not of sound mind’ when he goes postal anyway. Rape or not. So I’ll side with street justice, which far, far, far, more often is the actual justice.

It takes all afternoon to put everything back on the shelf.
When they get to court the “accused” now becomes the “defendant” .....
Thats why you take your new friend for a ride in the woods after he suddenly decides a nap is in order. Not enough people really care about nature and mans effect on the environment until waking up naked and shivering in it. In an unfamiliar place. On a mountain. In another state. Tied to a tree. Covered in meat. In a Bear preserve. Gagged.
Just as long as you don’t Water board your new friend you will be fine.
