I have been in the woods around Albuquerque at night. The idea of coyotes made me nervous, but I never considered packs of dogs.

They are a whole lot worse. At least coyotes have some fear or respect of people.

A pack of dogs is MUCH more dangerous than even a horde of coyotes.
